Travel insurance is essential when taking your passion for the game around the world, and you’ll want to be safe in the knowledge that your tour party has the right cover in place.
That is why we have created a specifically tailored policy with expert help from the RFU, to ensure England Rugby affiliated clubs have access to appropriate emergency cover whilst on tour.
The RFU-approved tour policy includes:
- Personal accident
- Medical and emergency travel expenses and assistance
- 24/7 Emergency & Security assistance
- Cancellation, curtailment or change of itinerary
- Personal baggage and money
- Personal accident
- Passport indemnity, loss of passport and travel documents
- Playing and training equipment
- Cancellation, curtailment or change of itinerary
- Travel delay
- Personal liability
If your tour is within the UK, please note that cover is restricted to cancellation and curtailment and personal baggage cover, with no cover included for emergency medical expenses.
Important note - Whilst in most circumstances your departure date will be some time away, cover in respect of cancellation and curtailment is only in force once the policy is incepted. Therefore, even if the final number of persons travelling is to be finalised, it is imperative that cover is taken out at the earliest opportunity. Any adjustments may be made once the final numbers are known.
